We believe that our families are a valuable partner in the educational process. Parent Outreach activities are offered in an effort to develop and promote partnerships between our families and 4K Program as well as to support families in their role as the primary educators of their children.
Each year, the NJSD 4K Program will offer a minimum of 87.5 hours of outreach activities and events to all of our 4K families. Outreach hours are above and beyond the school day. Activities shared focus on a variety of topics that are intended to support our families. Outreach activities may focus on academics, social emotional development, health and safety, connections to community resources and activities to further build a partnership between home and school.
