Tullar PTO provides, on average, $15,000 annually to student and school based initiatives. PTO supports student education in the following ways:
- Approximately $5000 annually is directed to offset the cost of field trips
- Our playgorund expansion
- Carpets for classroom/library
- Classroom materials/technology
- Books for classroom libraries and the bookroom
- Purchasing commercial grade vacuums to enhance classroom wellness
- Purchasing industrial fans for classrooms
- Cultural events/guest speakers/activities
- Playground supplies (t-ball stands, balls, pedometers, scooters, etc.)
- Developmental guidance materials (games, activities, music, etc)
- General supplies (sensory seating, electric staplers, labelers, etc.)
- Staff led instructional nights and activities (Reading, Math, Writing Nights, Read Across America, etc.) - 5th grade bike hike, awards, and end of year celebration
The Tullar PTO is only able to purchase these materials and provide these events to our students because of your support. Fundraising is necessary in order to meet the requests for materials and support that our children deserve. The following is a list of the fundraising initiatives for the year. The PTO provides you with this overview so that you may identify where you would like to offer your time, talent or financial support.
