Several classes at Neenah High School have an advanced designation, are articulated with a technical college, received college credit, or help prepare students for an advanced placement test. All of these courses are noted on the transcript.
The FVTC Advanced Standing courses meet Laude requirements if a letter grade of B or above has been earned and Transcripted Credit if a letter grade of C- or above has been earned. A student can qualify to receive Laude Recognition by multiplying the number of advanced/transcripted/AP classes by their individual cumulative grade point average. Students must have a minimum grade point of 3.40 to qualify for the program.
There are three levels of designation, Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Summa Cum Laude.
The ranges for the recognition are as follows for the class of 2015:
Cum Laude |
77 to 125.9 |
Magna Cum Laude |
126 to 150.9 |
Summa Cum Laude |
