Welcome to Clayton Elementary!

Clayton Elementary is a tight-knit community of highly motivated and dedicated individuals within NJSD. As parents and educators, we know that our work in preparing our children for the future is so important. The entire school community is dedicated to individual student growth that seeks to nurture a love of learning in each child while encompassing a love for community. Teachers, staff, parents and our entire learning community want to make a difference in the lives of ALL our students. Each day we embrace our students and strive to first understand the child and then help the children embrace their world of learning. We truly have a student-first attitude in all that we do!

Our district and community recognize the importance of a balanced education that meets children’s academic and social-emotional needs. The relationships we build with our students, community and staff are what ground us in our achievements.  We continuously strive for what is possible because of the work that we do.
