Welcome to Alliance Charter Elementary School! At Alliance, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of every learner through our Montessori curriculum and school structure. We engage students through a Montessori prepared environment; hands-on, sequenced-learning materials; student-centered classrooms; individualized instruction; multi-age student groupings; and uninterrupted blocks of work time.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broad Field Social Studies, History, and Economics Education from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I continued my education with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Additionally, I have an alternative education certification and I am finishing my superintendent and school finance licenses from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I started my career in La Crosse, WI, as a middle school charter school teacher. I went on to be a principal in an alternative middle and high school in addition to starting a virtual charter school and coordinating all summer school programs for the School District of La Crosse. I am driven to find new and innovative ways to meet the needs of ALL of our students.

The Alliance staff and I believe that learning is enhanced when students communicate, demonstrate, and apply their knowledge in a variety of realistic, creative, and constructive ways to a variety of other students from various cultures and backgrounds. We also believe that education is a shared responsibility which involves students, teachers, administration, parents/guardians, and the community. We are so fortunate to have a dedicated group of parents/guardians, who contribute their time for fundraising, school activities, and much more. Involvement by parents/guardians in classroom activities is highly encouraged and appreciated. Additionally, parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in the Alliance Advisory Council, which meets monthly.
